چکیده

The vertical motion of air that enhances or restricts the atmospheric turbulence through boundary layer is known as "atmospheric stability", in which any movement components such water vapor, aerosols, etc. are affected by stability. aim this research to test effect stability on amount downward aersols flux at 10um (PM10) emission from stacks Daura refinery, and estimated deposition dust aerosols PM10 area around refinery. In study, hourly based similar theory Monin-Obukhov length calculated archived data European Center for Medium Range Weather Forecast, velocity (Vd) emitted Refinery using parameter (L). concentration according Gaussian model, used along with partical size order produce sedimentation (Fp) distances 1000, 5000 10000 m stack point sources emission. Results show areas located south southeast refinery receive large amounts deposited values stable weather conditions, where accumulated during one month have recorded 1.5 million μg /m2.s January a distance 1000 center stacks, while reaches 532 μg/m2.s July due high rates resulting burning fuel oil July. percentages decreased 1712 322839 10 km July, respectively. According method, square meters can be time, if conditions domain wind direction known.

Turbulent flux events in a nearly neutral atmospheric boundary layer.

We propose here a novel method of analysing turbulent momentum flux signals. The data for the analysis come from a nearly neutral atmospheric boundary layer and are taken at a height of 4m above ground corresponding to 1.1 x 10(5) wall units, within the log layer for the mean velocity. The method of analysis involves examining the instantaneous flux profiles that exceed a given threshold, for w...

introduction air pollution has harmful effect on human health and the environment. accordingly, considerable effort has been put to analyze the air pollutants. one important issue is the spatial distribution of these pollutants. dispersion of the pollutants released from sources on the ground is mostly driven by the planetary boundary layer where turbulent flow causes mixing of the content of t...

The Martian Atmospheric Boundary Layer

[1] The planetary boundary layer (PBL) represents the part of the atmosphere that is strongly influenced by the presence of the underlying surface and mediates the key interactions between the atmosphere and the surface. On Mars, this represents the lowest 10 km of the atmosphere during the daytime. This portion of the atmosphere is extremely important, both scientifically and operationally, be...
